Over the years, I don’t know how it happened or when, but I lost myself. I was too busy trying to make others happy that I became someone else. So now, it’s time to re-invent myself. A better me.
One thing I learned for self improvement is to write down the person that you want to be. How would you like to see yourself? Here is my list:
- I will remain calm in times that I feel I have lost control. Redirect and move on.
- I will not stress about the little things especially things I can’t control.
- I am dependable and reliable. My friends and family can count on me.
- I am kind, respectful and open-minded. I do not hate or judge others.
- I am fun, sweet and wholesome. I enjoy life to the fullest.
- I am a good mother. I love both my children dearly.
- I am caring and will take care of the people I love.
- I am brave. I take risks. I am confident about my decisions and actions.
- I am beautiful. I am comfortable with who I am and don’t compare myself to others.
- I am healthy. I eat a well-balanced diet and exercise regularly.
- I am a hard worker. I will climb the corporate ladder. Make that money $$
- I am goal-oriented. I will not give up.
